Pender Connections: Fall 2026 Program Announced

The Sunshine Coast Resource Centre and Pender Harbour Health Centre are excited to announce the fall schedule for Pender Connections — a series of learning and support sessions designed to help residents access resources, connect with services, and build community.

1:00–3:00 PM | What is Dementia?
Explore the basics of dementia, including changes in the brain, stages of progression, and common myths and misconceptions. Open to anyone interested in learning more about dementia.

5:00–7:00 PM | Adapting to Communication Changes (Caregiver Workshop)
Learn how dementia can impact communication and explore practical strategies to support connection, understanding, and meaningful conversations.
