The Sechelt Courthouse services include criminal, family, youth, small claims, traffic and bylaw matters. Every other Wednesday and Thursday of the month, during court times (about 9-3) a Criminal Duty Counsel (Criminal lawyer) is available to provide legal support for those attending court on a first come-first served basis. Priority to those attending court that day, but you are free to show up to request advice on a criminal matter if you do have court that day, or if you simply have a criminal law question.
