The Town of Gibsons has partnered with BC Housing to provide a homeless outreach consultant to support the community. The goal is to engage people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, by assessing clients’ needs, assisting with personal goals, and connecting individuals and families with housing and appropriate services.

This program assists approximately 40 clients, including those in supportive housing, cold-weather shelters, and outdoor environments. Clients also include individuals seeking support from the Salvation Army and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
