Noni Weitz

Noni has been living on the Sunshine Coast since 1991. Her background is a combination of social work and finance. She has worked with Ministry of Social Services, Sunshine Coast Employment Centre and volunteered as a board member with Sunshine Coast Women’s Resources Centre (predecessor to Sunshine Coast Resource Centre). After 15 years, she
morphed into finance and worked locally with Sunshine Coast Community Services and retired in 2025 from her position with the Town of Gibsons. With too much time on her hands, she returned to the non-profit community where her heart and values lie. In addition to working
with Sunshine Coast Resource Centre, you’re likely to see Noni on the coast as she volunteers with Sunshine Coast Hospice Society and is an active member in the local music community.
