The Sunshine Coast Camera Club is a volunteer organization promoting photography as an activity and as an art. We are interested in helping members with all levels of experience and expertise, from novice to professional, to advance their skills and enjoy photography. We meet two times a month to learn from professional instructors and from each other, and to view each others’ work. We also organize “Photo Outings” for club members and provide opportunities to enter photographic competitions. The club is always seeking volunteers from among the members to serve on the executive and help with club activities.
Types of Possible Volunteer Opportunities Available:
- Serving in Executive positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
- Program Coordinatoor
- Membership Coordinator
- Photo Walk Coordinator
- Competitions Coordinator
- Website, Instagram and Facebook administrators
- Projectionist (Audio/Visual technician)
All members have the opportunity to gain experience in photography. Members who volunteer for the positions listed above gain organisational experience and the camaraderie of working with other good people for the benefit of the club to promote the art of photography.
