The Government of Canada’s Connecting Families initiative, in partnership with Internet service providers, helps eligible people get home low-cost Internet services. Low-income families who currently receive the maximum Canada Child Benefit (CCB) and low-income seniors who currently receive the maximum Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) are eligible for this initiative. Eligible households must receive a letter from the Government of Canada.
