Mary has a strategic communications and community development background, including a Master’s in Community Development from UVic. Her experience includes program development and engagement in the arts & culture, education, and child & youth care sectors. Over the past several years, she was a caregiver for her mother then godmother on the Sunshine Coast and experienced first-hand the struggles of navigating the seniors’ health care system. Her goal is to improve support and advocacy for seniors and their caregivers in the various public and private systems of seniors health and wellbeing on the Sunshine Coast and beyond.
