Miranda Beall and her husband made a life-changing decision to relocate to the beautiful Sunshine
Coast in 2016. With a solid foundation in non-profit outdoor education, Miranda eventually transitioned
to the financial services sector, where she has worked for the past decade in credit unions. Currently
serving as an Impact Specialist, Miranda focuses on educating and embedding Environmental, Social,
and Governance principles into the local credit union’s operations. Additionally, she adeptly manages
the credit union’s social media, manages community grants and sponsorships, and coordinates events
and employee volunteering efforts.

Miranda is also an Executive Coach, recognizing the importance of empowering and supporting
individuals in leadership for the well-being of all stakeholders. Fueling her ambition to make a lasting
impact, she is currently working towards her Masters in Leadership, specializing in Executive Leadership
at Royal Roads University.

Passionate about poverty reduction, Miranda has delivered financial literacy workshops to over 1000
individuals in community services, transition houses, high schools, seniors centrers, new comers to
Canada groups, and First Nation communties. She finds fulfillment in serving her community and hopes
her compassionate and ethical perspective will be of value to the Resource Centre decision-making,
along with bringing fresh perspectives in strategy and social purpose.
